The Spring Dog Show Extavaganza in Gauteng

 

The TKC and SA Ladies weekend of shows held Friday to Sunday - 7, 8, 9 October 2011 - also included the Africa FCI championship show.

This exciting weekend of championship Dog shows draws record entries of the best dogs in South Africa.

The shows also include the prestigous competition of  the Montego/TKC Supreme Dog.

 

The 2011 title was won by  a challenger from Cape town, Chris and Erna Aucamp's glamorous Shih Tzu with the romantic name of Romeo (Ch Winterholme’s Love Story at Dunstars).

 

Runner-up was the gorgeous Siberian Husky bitch, Rossana Jouberts Ch Kamkatcha Beautiful Gaia.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Winner - Junior Dog of the Year Challenge

 

 

 

The other competition was the hotly contested Junior Dog, won by Cheryl Jacobs' imported ridgeback Flair (Yaw Adyuba Royalty By Flair for Gondwana). She is aptly named because she showed her Flair by also winning Best Puppy in Show at SA Ladies Championship Show.

On Friday the Africa FCI championship show was held. Best in Show was the delightful Skye Terrier bitch Buckwheater’s Curry Favour of Ailsabute (van Schalkwyk)

Runner-up on Saturday was the very glamorous standard poodle of Jane Kiefer, Ch Stelizane Elizabeth Swann.
