The TKC and SA Ladies weekend of shows held Friday to Sunday - 7, 8, 9 October 2011 - also included the Africa FCI championship show.
This exciting weekend of championship Dog shows draws record entries of the best dogs in South Africa.


The shows also include the prestigous competition of the Montego/TKC Supreme Dog.
The 2011 title was won by a challenger from Cape town, Chris and Erna Aucamp's glamorous Shih Tzu with the romantic name of Romeo (Ch Winterholme’s Love Story at Dunstars).
Runner-up was the gorgeous Siberian Husky bitch, Rossana Jouberts Ch Kamkatcha Beautiful Gaia.

The other competition was the hotly contested Junior Dog, won by Cheryl Jacobs' imported ridgeback Flair (Yaw Adyuba Royalty By Flair for Gondwana). She is aptly named because she showed her Flair by also winning Best Puppy in Show at SA Ladies Championship Show.

Runner up Junior dog was Dr Heidi Rolfes glamorous Slovenian imported Maltese, Fabulous Moment Valentina's Magic (Finn)
3rd Junior Dog: Newfoundland – Duramti New Moon (Boessenkool)
4th Junior Dog: Bull Terrier – Ludere Boldly Supreme (Bold)


On Friday the Africa FCI championship show was held. Best in Show was the delightful Skye Terrier bitch Buckwheater’s Curry Favour of Ailsabute (van Schalkwyk)


and Runner-Up Best in Show was Bryan Kelly's well known whippet Ch Savuka Mambo Sun of Cottoncove.

Runner-up Best Puppy in Show: Siberian Husky – Foxfire It’s My Party (Battey)




The countrys leading contender for Showdog of the Year, the powerhouse black showboy of Clair v d Bergh, the Afghan Rogue, Ch Aviva T’Scaramouche, was Best In Show on Saturday.
Runner-up on Saturday was the very glamorous standard poodle of Jane Kiefer, Ch Stelizane Elizabeth Swann.
Best Puppy in show: Pekingese – Seawind Take A Chance (Robinson & Tyrrell)
Reserve Best Puppy in Show: Whippet – Cottoncove Royal Chalice of Lynderry (Degenhardt)



Romeo, the Shih Tzu mentioned above, followed up his Supreme title with Best in Show on Sunday (SA Ladies KennelAssociation).
Again Runner-Up Best in Show to Romeo was the Siberian Husky Gaia (also mentioned above).
