Very compatible - if socialized from a young age they get on with all other animals.
Compatibility with cats and other animals If raised with cats they get on with them and all other animals.

Compatibility with people/children

Suitability as Watchdog
Excellent – without aggression.  When mature they will protect what is theirs.

Noise Factor

If the WSSD barks you can be sure there is a reason.
Average Lifespan
10 – 15 years
Feeding Feed a good quality & reputable dog food, and follow manufacturers recommendations for age and weight.

Availability Enquire via Clubs/KUSA for reputable breeders and healthy puppies.    Be prepared to wait for well-bred puppies!
Some questions to ask Breeders Ask to see the Sire & Dam. Are the puppies KUSA registered? Have puppies been de-wormed and vaccinated?
